Kim Stewart is the Post Bachelor advisor for the department. She holds two post bachelor information sessions every month and provides on-site individual advising during those sessions.

Mrs. Stewart teaches Clinical Methods (SLP 5310) in the Fall/Winter/Spring-Summer semesters.  This class covers applications of the clinical process using a case-based client. It is open to all undergraduates within the major and post bachelor students.  


Mrs. Stewart is a Clinical Supervisor for the Head Start, Out Patient, and PLAY programs.  These programs service children, adults, and teens living in the greater Detroit area and train approximately 80 graduate clinicians per year.

Michigan Head Start

Mrs. Stewart is clinically interested in the vocabulary development of pre-school age children, childhood apraxia of speech, and pediatric dysphagia.
