Message from the Chair

Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders

Welcome!  Thank you for stopping by our website.  I hope that you find this to be a helpful resource to learn about our faculty , our undergraduate, post bachelor, MA-SLP, AuD and PhD programs of study, as well as our clinics and clinical training resources.

If you are considering  graduate study in speech-language pathology or audiology, be sure to use the information available regarding our graduate programs, financial aid, and the exciting research and clinical training opportunities that we offer.  Our programs are unique in that they are offered in conjunction with over 40 different clinical and research locations within the WSU community and greater Detroit.  Our graduate program has an "international flair" as we welcome students from Canada and several other countries.

Feel free to contact our student advisors or Graduate Admissions Officer if you have any questions about applications or admission to any of our graduate programs.

In addition to our research and teaching programs, the Department operates the WSU Speech and Language Center and the Wayne State Audiology Clinic.  For questions regarding referrals, schedules, or special clinical offerings be sure to contact us by phone or email.

Again, I welcome you to our website.
